Cherry Blossom Family Photos in Central Park, NYC

Each year, we wait for the cherry blossoms to bloom in New York City. The city is engulfed but a sea of pink and white blooms and for about two weeks, it’s absolutely magical. I couldn’t have planned it any more perfectly for this sun-drenched morning family session in Central Park just as the cherry blossomed reached full peak. The glowy golden morning sun was coming over the reservoir and it was as if we had New York City all to ourselves. We captured this little lady who was about to turn one with her adoring parents which is one of my favorite milestones to capture. Central Park Cherry Blossom Engagement Photos

Nothing makes me happier than photographing my couples who are completely and utterly in love with one another. Emily and Peter and the kindest couple and I’m overjoyed to be part of their engagement and wedding day. We had the best day in New York City’s Central Park for their sunrise engagement session under the pink Cherry Blossoms. You could have asked for a better Spring morning if you tried. They danced, laughed, and drank champagne before we headed down to the west village to complete our session. I cannot wait to for their wedding at Canoe Inn and Cottages in Hampton Bays and work along side their wedding planners Effortless Events. It’s going to be a wonderful celebration!

NYC Family Photography in Central Park

Spring is definitely one of my favorite times of the year. I’ve probably said this a million times but New York City simply shows off during the Spring. The flowers begin to bloom, the trees are back, and the streets are back to being busy once again. It’s also the most perfect time for family photos in Central Park, especially during the cherry blossom blooms. I always try to time my annual mini-sessions with the blooms to create these incredible family photos for my sweet couples. I loved capturing my sweet family’s maternity and family photos last Spring as they were expecting their second son to arrive. I’m so excited to share a few of my favorite images from their family photos.
